So I really like the new 22" wheel. Im seeing it as a replica and am curious about the quality. Are the oem cast or forged? Same questionto the replicas?
Do we have vendors here that sell either?

Feast your eyes on a couple of pics of my 22x9's which I just recently received from Tony at TBSS a dealer for Factory Reproductions, right here in this forum.

They are beautiful, and as fussy a bastard that I am I am totally happy-pleased. They will look absolutely killer once I get the tires and get them mounted up.

I also just ordered the GM Lug-Lock Set which I think will look best with these. GM # 17801711.

For $1325 shipped, you cannot go wrong. Shipment direct took exactly 46 hours from time I clicked paypal pay, to the moment they were sitting on my doorstep.

I very much doubt I'm wrong about this, but these factory repro wheels are probably the very exact same wheel you'd get if you walked into a Chevy-GM Dealer.

How many manufacturers in the world would you think are making these? Surely none in America that's for sure! Hell. even a pair of Levis aint even made here anymore.

Walk into your friendly GM Dealer, and I'd bet you'll spend 4 times as much.
And you'll no doubt receive the exact same wheel. Just to see AC/Delco on the Box?

If I bought enough sets, I could probably have my name on the box.

One pic was taken without flash, to beter show them under slightly lower light. Flash can ruin a pic at times.

And I strongly doubt you'll get any GM wheel that is forged, custom from Boyds, or Foose, maybe yeah, GM, or these aftermarkets, no.

Forged, or 2-3 piece wheels? Get ready to empty your bank account.

The dealer gm ck 163 is a slightly different design than the reproduction. If you look close you can tell the difference.

Quick google search shows the 2500 3500 wheels being forged. Havent found any info on these though. Vete, camaro, ctsv, g8gxp all had forged too. Still interested in finding out.
