Reset Engine Hours

I was wondering can you reset engine hours becuase I bought an 07 and it said 59 hours on it and I knnow it has more than that.

Sometimes they reset by themselves...mine did.

I think you are talking about two different things. One is basically a timer that can be reset or automatically will at 99. The other is an engine run timer that I think can't be reset. At least my 09 Denali has it. I guess it'll let a future owner know if the vehicle has been idling for a long time.
