Was wondering if it would be possible to retrofit the 2022+ digital instrument cluster cluster into a 2021 Yukon Denali. Can't seem to find much on the interwebs about it other than just theories that it may fit, but that some programming would be required. Anyone have any insight on this? Not a big deal, but would love to have it in my '21 if I can. Thanks!

You are definitely going to need to do more than a parts swap…because the 2021 uses the older GM software and the 2022 and up use the Google based stuff. There is software that runs it on the instrument panel cluster; and it has to be compatible w/ what you have onboard…net, I doubt you can just swap the part…there will be programming required. Suggest using the white stuff above.

I actually did it l, it requires setup though techline connect, I bought a ACDELCO TDS SPS subscription for my vin for 2 years, you can get an MDI from Amazon but the Bosch one also works. A dealer should be able to do it if you pay there fee.

Also to add I’m in love with it, trade in values are terrible right now so I can’t upgrade for a few more years but made me feel like I have a new suburban :)

Awesome! Did you buy the MDI 2 for this job or already have one?

Awesome!! Bradac, did you buy MDI2? Because I am looking at that, and the price was $1,475:(

Clones are available - haven't dug into them too much. There's some videos of them on YouTube. When I get to the point that I really want/need one I will likely go the clone route.

This is a nice mod to the 2021's.

Do you think you can purchase a used cluster and still complete the swap with the programming tools you purchased? Or do you have to get the new $750 cluster listed above?

Thank you for your kindly reply, Stephen.
I found this one way cheaper. I could go with that
