I have another post on this about wiring up a light bar using factory switches. I'd link it but cannot find it as my content has been blown out of search on forum
So I decided upon the construction beacon light assembly. This is an option on the Silverado I believe. I've found the unpopulated connector for the wiring harness.
1. Curious where I might buy the wiring harness or at least the connector so I can build it.
Next, even the factory doesn't drill the hole for the beacon light. You have to cut a hole to run the wires through the roof by B-pillar. I want to bring power up on and out through the mount for the roof rack.
2. What's best way to seal, and do this properly? Any better ideas that perhaps wouldn't require drilling a hole or running wires all over the weather stripping & door jams?
This is a link to a video of what I'm trying to do....
