Reverse light on trailer

mostly because I'm too tired (have a cold) to go outside and see if there is a diagram on the Denali trailer pin cover.

Do our trucks have a pin out on the trailer harness 7 pin for a reverse light?

I'd like to have a little (well a lot) more light when backing the trailer at night.

Yes they do. I think it's the center pin although not positive. The cover that flips down over the plug has the diagram embossed in it. (At least it does on my 2010.)

Those of us that haul boat trailers with surge brakes rely on that reverse lead to lock out the brakes and enable us to back up.
