Revwrse lights are on while truck is on.

Took my truck in for trans service. Got home and wife noticed that when I'm pulling away that the exit lighting (reverse) light is on all the time while the teuck is on. It's not the actual reverse lighting but the same bulb? If in neutral the light is on but whenni i put it into reverse it gets brighter. Which makes me think its the exit vehicle reverse light that's on. Is there anything nice can start testing. I looked up the issue and seen it could be reverse switch on the trans. Or faulty connection in areas. Anyone else have ant ideas before I take jt back the the dealership.
