I'm in the process of painting the frame. Right now getting rid of/treating rust grime and dirt. But before I commit and put brush to frame.

What do you guys think of using bed liner(Rhino, Herculiner) to cover the frame?

Mainly the visible outside and the bottom where it can get beat up by rocks and off-road abuse. I figure bed liner should be one of my most durable options. And I think I'll just do regular paint for the top, inside and the nooks and crannies.

I Herculined my entire undercarriage. It really helps protect from rust and I live in Michigan so I need all the protection I can get. I recommend it for sure.

I've heard it done and people say they like it. I brush on some thick semi-gloss black once a year and that works for me

Then I guess the vote is in. I'll go pick up some Herculiner at AutoZone.
