Anybody that has upgraded from the stock 20's to any of the GM 22's, how did the ride change if at all? Trying to talk the wife into a set of CK919's.

Thanks for input,

I don't have the CK919 but I do have Boss 330s that are 22" mounted to a 305/40/22 tire on a Avalanche. I had the stock 20 ltz rims prior. I can say that ride quality did not change much if any, there might be a slight different due to less rubber but I can't honestly feel a difference. I am lowered 2/4 also and it actually rides smoother than one of my friends Yukon Xl which has Chevy 20" ltz rims on.

It mostly depends on your choice in tire. Get good tires and your ride will be good :waytogo:

Honestly my 20"s ride worse than my 24"s I have a really thick sidewall and they're winter tires as well so I'm sure that plays into a key factor.

At one point I switched from stock 20's to ck916 22's and I could definitely tell a difference when I went over bumps in the road. Also, gas mileage went down about 1 mpg with the larger wheels.

Thanks for input,

It will change. Not unbearable by any means. Stock Escalades had them for years.

I've went from factory 20 to 22 before and I didn't notice much a difference except for slightly worse gas mileage.
