Hey all im new to the page. This is my first post. I have an 03 yukon xl lowered on some 22s. I have led head lights that were installed when i bought the vehicle and fpr some reason when the right turn signal gets put on the head lights shut off but if i pull it back for the high beams and push up for right signal they will stay on as long as i hold it up with high beams on. Any ideas or suggestion would be very helpful thank you in advance .

Welcome!

Are the lowbeam headlights turning off or are the DRLs? Post up a pic of your headlights at night, or of your DRLs if those are the issue. LED bulbs or aftermarket LED housings?

First thing that comes to mind is a wiring issue where the turn signal is turning off both lights instead of only the one on the turn signal side. I've never noticed if my '04's DRL turns off when I hit the turn signal, but I'm always driving.

yeah probably need to check those low beams. Most likely your drivers side low beam is out and the right side goes off when you turn on the right blinker so no low beams on at all. And of course the high beams are working. Thats my guess anyway.

no your drl's do not turn off when you turn the blinker on, and no if you had a bad bulb in one low beam it would not turn the other one off when turning on the blinker.
come on guys......
being they are LED's I would check to be sure the Polarity is correctly connected for beginners, although it would be weird that they would work at all if the polarity wasn't right but I have had it happen before, check that the grounds are connected properly also if someone wired it up wrong it could be problem.
other possibility: someone fubarded the LED setup and some how connected the wires wrong and when the blinker is turned on it is loosing power or grounding out.
alternatively: if there is a electrical problem with the blinker (somehow) it could be making the headlight loose power when the blinker is turned on.
all easily to troubleshoot with a standard electrical meter.
high beams run on a different wire which is why they still work as you described

Check wiring of the headlights and marker lights. Stuff like this is usually the result of a bad ground. The headlights are probably grounding through the marker light circuit that gets cut off when you activate the right turn signal. You may have to consult a wiring diagram.
