Curious if anybody has done a rocker switch panel (these things). I've already drilled a hole in firewall for aftermarket devices, would like to add a few switches. Would be really cool if there's something for the blank spots in the dash, red box below...

I'm going to wire up a fan switch to command the high speed fan on.

I know this is a little off the subject but I needed to add this.
There is 2 spots on each side of the firewall specifically to pass extra wires on all new GMs. I found out cause I needed to pass a bunch of wires and was really uneasy drilling. My dealer showed me where they are hidden. And he knows if a few people who caused big damage drilling. there is so much stuff in the walls it nuts.

Would you have a diagram or picture of these locations? Routing cabling through firewalls in a safe manner is pertinent to this discussion. I'm just starting my journey of exterior lighting and accessories and plan on running a single, multi-conductor (control) cable to a relay box somewhere in the engine compartment. Do it once (properly) and be done. Thanks.

Likewise! I'd love to know where the additional wiring holes are in the firewall.

I currently drilled a hole where the master cylinder would go for the clutch if it was a manual vehicle and am using that but a wiring factory provision would be even better!

That's great, I believe there's a dimple for the extra bolt that a hydroboost pedal would need. Might be similar or the same as the one you mentioned.
