Hey guys this is going to be an ongoing and updated thread about a Roll pan for my Tahoe. I plan on getting one soon (within next 2 months) and have been looking online for prices and came with a few questions below:

1)Where to buy? I have found multiple ones ranging from $100-250 shipped online and was wondering the difference and is it worth to get one brand over another

2)How to install? Is this something I can put on easily or do I need to pay a shop to have it done?

3)Paint? What is a very rough price I am looking to spend to have a roll pan painted?

4)Legal? I live in Massachusetts and is it legal to have a roll pan? Do I have to make adjustments to it to make it legal?

Any help with these questions would be great and I'll update this post with relevant answers to provide a easy guide for anyone with this questions.

As always, Thanks for your help :)

I got mine from stylintrucks.com. The most common are made of urethane or steel. The steel ones can be welded on to make a seamless look. IIRC, mine ran just under $200 to paint, but you can get it done cheaper than that at most places. If you can change a flat, then you shouldn't have a hard time installing the roll pan.

I got mine from Grant Kustoms think it was like $260 on the website ( I actually got mine from a local guy for $125). I just got it welded in yesterday for $125 and slapped a coat of primer on to protect it until I get it molded and painted, I'm hoping to get the bodywork done for $100-$150..... I'll keep you posted and get some pics up when it's all done. Check out Grant Kustoms though I think they look
WAY better than Street Scene or Sir Michaels IMO....

Guys are the roll pans for 'Hoes and Yukons the same as Escalades? I'm dying to pan my '05 ESV but very few people do it. Do the pans work on both trucks?
