Hello all. I just want to share my experience with my install. I purchased a set of Scorpion Roller Rockers1.5 ratio part# SCP1035BL. These are really nice and made in the USA. All went well. They are really well made AND fit under stock covers! This was a big plus for me cause taller covers would not fit without grinding the back of the AC mounting bracket and not to mention additional cost.

Did you have to make new push rods? Did this affect your rocker arm geometry?

Nice set up! With everything you have done what HP are you making to the rear wheels?

Whats next for you?

Nope, push rods are the same. I went with a stock 1.5 ratio cause you have to elongate the area in the heads for the push rods of you go with 1.6 ratio. I think it just makes sense to have it full roller since the cam is anyway. I'm not sure about HP but this truck does move well for the weight. I'm waiting on an updated BB tune as we speak.

I called scorpion the other day as I was looking at the 1.6's and they guy in the tech dept said he had never heard of anyone complaining thet the holes had to be elongated. I was kinda :emotions34::emotions34:
I would hate to buy, tear it all apart and find out they need to be elongated.....which would be really ******* the vehicle.
Any close up pics of pushrod to hole clearance?

Ive been interested in getting some 1.6 and new springs, so that ill be ready for a new cam and lifters later on. Might just do 1.5 because I have heard from a few places the 1.6 dont fit :(

Sorry no close-ups. I did a lot of reading on here and other forums and the conclusion was that the push rods will rub because of the 1.6 geometry. I would look into it more. Maybe it's only specific to vortec heads?
