Gents- I'm getting ready to remove the onstar antenna on my 12 Hoe. I've done some shopping around, and bought a few different onstar/XM antennas from other GM vehicles mainly cars, which have small little square antennas rather than the sharkfin we have.

Does anyone have any good step by step instructions to remove the headliner for a 2007-2012? I'll let you know how it goes. Get at me if you have those instructions. Thanks.

Painting it would help a lot I would imagine, whether or not that would disrupt the signal I am unsure.
