roof console

hey guys i was wondering if anyone has put one of the roof consoles into a 99 two door that didnt have one stock? my main question is will the mounting holes be there if it didnt have one stock and second will the wiring harness for the lights be there? I know GM has the tendency to use the same harness on all vehicles regarless of the options just in case someone wanted to upgrade, but does anyone have a for sure answer befor i cut a hole in my headliner lol.

well went to a local junk yard and found a couple of different roof consoles, needs a little work but should have it installed within a couple of days. Ill post pics

I put one in mine out of a four door. Take your time cutting the headliner and you should have no problems. I have a 99 two door as well.

well here are some pics of my roof console install. All in all it was pretty easy just had to locate the mounting holes and put it in. The lights are currently in op as the package i have wasnt wired in for them, but that will be simple just have to run a power and a ground, prolly run em from the existing dome light.
