07 Tahoe. Sunroof.
Leak is above the passenger side, middle row. In the headliner above the plastic seat belt section. It only leaks when I wash it, rain has no effect.

I removed the roof rack, added plumbers tape around each screw and water proof sealant around each screw area.

The leak is obviously coming from somewhere else, but where?

I stuck my head up in the sunroof and didn't notice anything abnormal. No leaks from the sunroof area at all.

Does someone have a diagram for all of the drain tube's?
I am stumped.

How can you check if it's plugged or where the plug is at for that matter.

Can you explain exactly where the leak is because "the seat belt area" can be in the b-pillar area, or the c-pillar area.

I had this exact thing a few weeks after I switched to an esky rack on my 2011 Tahoe . Recently I had a member confirm (who pulled the headliner) that the holes are open and lead directly to the headliner. So it COULD be the rack. However if the roof rack holes are sealed well like you've done, than I'd say it's the sunroof. Look at the two schematics in the thread I posted...they show the drain tubes lead right to that spot by the seatbelt.

There are 4 drains to the sunroof, one on each corner. Chances are one of the hoses came off or is clogged. Easiest way is to take a bottle of water and just pour some towards that drain. If you diagnose it to be the drain and not the roof rack, I would loosen / remove the A, B, and C Pillar trim panels on that side. From there you can pull the headliner down enough that youll have access to the drain hoses.

While youre pouring water down that drain, I would check the other 3 to make sure they are draining properly as well. (You'll hear / see the water come out from under the vehicle)

sun roof drains as everyone else has mentioned. Blow compressed air down the drains (be sure you do so ever so gently as you can rip out the drain hoses. This works and will fix your issue, I had the same issues in the same locations mentioned.
