Hey guys, I have a 2013 chevy silverado 2500hd but my wife has a 2017 chevy suburban.
I want to install an awning on the side of it for day beach/lake trips if we dont take the truck. Ive seen a few ways to mount them onto roof cross rails but I'm not a fan. it seems that GM and the aftermarket has really let go of roof customizations for tahoes/suburbans. I was thinking about building a mounting bracket using the existing holes in the roof rails for an awning. Has anyone done something like this before? I wouldnt leave it on there all the time, just when we go on trips.
does anyone know the thread size for those holes?
Thanks
