I removed my rack and put the screws back in the holes. Tightened them down as much as possible and then grinded them off and mixed a little body filler to smooth it out. ( Still in the process of this since it is too cold out now) Also removed the third brake light and flipped it to inside the truck.

I got lucky. My rood rack was aftermarket. All it had was drill screw holes. I'm putting short flatter head screws with a dab of silicone sealer back in. Down the center of the roof was peel and stick moulding. That was long gone. Only some glue to deal with.

Yea I also removed the rub strips from the roof and have to finish removing the glue. Once it is warm out I will finish it and then put a fresh coat of paint. The clear coat on my trucks hood and roof was gone so I sanded it all down and painted my hood.

Can we please see pictures of what you did with the third brake light

OK, not wanting to take my off, but the cross rails rattle bad. Anyone have any experience snugging these down? Don't know how they got so loose.
