Good idea. Why not just vinyl wrap it? Same effect but less labor I like your thought here!

People do that all the time Bosworth. I have seen it in person and online a good amount.
And Burb, it would be very difficult to wrap the rack and make it look good.

It's the texture and the shape. Most people won't even agree to attempt to wrap it because it will be very laborious to yield good results.

Ive seen it around where I live on a pearl white tahoe I didnt really like it but I think with black it would be good!
