Roof rack mounting holes loose/spinning

I took the rack off my truck today and noticed that 2 of the mounting pieces that are drilled into the roof are stripped out and spinning. Has anybody expeirence this before? What's the best way to fix this? I don't want it start rattling or leaking water into the truck. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Take the headliner out and tack those mounting pieces back in and get new screws if they are stripped

That's too much trouble! I was thinking about getting some black silicone and placing a thin bead around the mounting hole to hold it down to the roof and water proof it!
