Roof rack mounting

Im puttin a roof rack on my nbs z71 and im tryin to get away from the rack on a rack look any one have any ideas to mount it without drilling holes in the roof

Are you talking about a basket? If you're just swapping out rack for rack, then they're a direct fit.

And is ur hoe 4wd or 2wd i was lookin for some lift spindles for mine and all i could find is ones for 2wd

You could drill holes in the basket and mount it to the original rack mount but then the basket would be directly on the roof which is not good for the paint. May I suggest getting a regular tahoe roof rack and mounting the basket to that. Its lower profile and won't have so much of the 'rack on rack' look. Search for thegeneral. He has a regular rack with basket mounted on it.

Lt or ls tahoe rack should directly bolt up to z71.
