Roof rack screw size

Anyone know off hand what the size of the screws for the roof rails are? I lost mine and I want to put the rails back on. I'll get stainless screws to replace the originals and probably allen heads instead of torx.

re-roof rack

Hello guys i have a 2001 tahoe and took the roof rack off and i have white stuff looks to be stained on the paint and can't get it off any suggestion of what to do? i have tried everything please e-mail me at

Thank you! As soon as I saw this post I went out side and took mine off then took the mud flaps off too. MUCH BETTER!

bump for good info, just put my rack back on too. Went with a 30mm Length.
