Roof Rack

I am considering a roof rack on my 2011. It would only be used once or twice a year for some camping gear, nothing too heavy.

Any recommends and pictures of it mounted only your Tahoe?

I got my factory racks or the 99-06 z71 racks are a good swap if you want something more heavy duty then the 07-13 racks

I believe @Dustin Jackson has some pics posted somewhere where he done the z71 rack swap since our nnbs racks kinda suck when it comes to actual functionality

Here is mine, cost $30 from junkyard and a rattle can or 2 of rustoleum. Bolts right up no modification and is much more sturdy than the factory chopstick bars and the round bar in the back spins freely to help pushing things onto the top.

I do have the stock roof rack and cross bars. I think I used the wrong terminology.

I am considering a roof rack basket. Mostly want to put camping gear on it once or twice a year to free up space inside.
