Have they been having issues with stock brake rotors?
My 2013 Yukon developed a rumble that I suspected was a rotor that was deteriorating from salt exposure after our lovely NE winter.(NYuses straight salt)
While it was at the dealer for a lift gate issue,I had my wife ask them to inspect the front brakes and explain the problem.
When she picked it up later ,not only was the gate latch replaced, but the replaced both front rotors! I wouldn't have expected it,being a normal wear iten, but they covered that under warrantee too!
Makes me think that maybe there have been issues with them!
Only 19k miles on the truck,so I would expect longer rotor life than that!
My 2500HD has 119k and original rotors where replaced at 80k!

I'm surprised there aren't more comments. My wife's '12 LTZ has a nasty growl in the brakes when they get heated up. Quiet and smooth until hot, then a nasty growl and vibration.

dude you should get way more then 19k miles on a set of rotors i just replaced all for of my rotors at 160k and i bought them at about 100k i think i had them turned once at 130 k maybe the only issue i have with my brakes is my 02 tahoe seems to eat up the rear pads 3 times faster then the front pads
