Rotor replacement question

I currently have R1 Concept slotted and cross drilled rotors which need to be replaced. Do I stick with the same? Thoughts, comments, suggestions are all welcome.

I had R1 rotors on my last car. Never had a problem. Why do they need to be replaced?
