Hey all,

I've been on the forum for a while now and always enjoy the posts. I was finally in a position to do some mods to the yukon. I just ordered the rough country 2in leveling kit and some 285/55r20 bfg all terrains. I'm waiting to see about the need for a rear lift until after the install. The install will not happen for another 2 weeks or so but I had a question about the tires. What do y'all recommend running for daily driving use of the bfg's? They are D/8ply. I've heard the "sweet spot" is from 38-42 psi??? Let me know what y'all think. I will be uploading pics as soon I get them on. Thanks

I think the 2" lift would be best suited with a .75" or 1" lift. Mine seems to sit a bit nose high, and any extra weight in the back makes it worse. The wheel wells are only 3/8" higher in the front, but something makes it look droopy in the back.

Yeah I'm hoping that it won't bug the crap out of me. I would've already ordered the rear spacer but the 1" was twice as much as the RC front kit.

if you go on amazon or summit racing, daystar makes a .75" spacer thats like 40 bucks. that may be enough to level it up a bit in the rear. it hasnt bothered me quite enough yet to get it, contemplating the RC 3.5 kit right now anyways

I actually got to looking around after that post and found the daystar .75 spacer on amazon for under $40 so I went ahead and ordered it. The 3of4 of the tires came in today hoping the 4th will be here tomorrow along with the RC kit. I'm schedule at the shop for install next Friday so I'll update with pictures. Called bfg and they recommend running the tires at 50psi. So I guess I'll start there.

Let us know how this turns out and post some pictures if you can. I just got some stock 20s and I'm in process of ordering leveling kit and deciding on tires.

I will be doing the same size tire 28/55/20 Hankook Dynapro on Fuel boost wheels. This is on my 2013 Suburban. I am using the eBay billet aluminum adjustable kit. I may go 1.5 inch so I don't have the nose too high. See what happens I will get some pics too. Will be done on Friday
