I know I'm probably beating the already dead horse, but I figured I'd ask anyways. Which is the better buy for a 6" lift, Rough Country's 6" NTD lift or BDS's 6.5" lift? I want a good quality lift. I like the Rough Countrys non-torsion bar drop for the clean look, but I've heard a lot of positive things about the 6.5" BDS lift along with BDS's great warranty/customer service. What do ya'll think, Rough Country NTD or BDS? If you need to know any other information, I'll be more than happy to answer any questions. Thanks!

Both are good lifts but BDS has the better warranty but I like the aspect of NTD from ground clearance in the center of the truck.

Yeah, those reasons you just listed is why I'm having a hard time choosing between the two.

Anyone else? The BDS with the Fox 2.0 shocks, which is what I'd get if I got the BDS lift, is about $2400. It also gives the option to add a single or dual steering stabilizer, is that worth it or even needed? The Rough Country NTD kit is $1300, but only looks to come with front shocks, so I'd have to change that and get (x4) Bilstein or Fox shocks.

Zone is the same thing as BDS but cheaper. It's even made in the same building. Just thought I'd throw that in the mix.

Humm...didn't know that. Wonder if there is any difference between the two including quality? Also is there really any need for a steering stabilizer?

When I researched zone I found out the have all the same certifications and quality control standards as BDS, so I'm not sure. Also I'd say a steering stabilizer is a must. I have the KYB one on mine ($45) and it was night and day with the 22's on it.

I have the 6.5" BDS without steering stabilizer. I looked into the rough country and found that shops won't even install them by me because of issues with their quality. As far as steering stabilizer goes, I don't have it, sometimes my truck will wonder some when on the express way but other then that I don't have any issues.

Thanks 02BigBoy! Tahoe looks great! What size tires and wheels you running? Looks like Nitto Trail Grapplers.
