Keys are keys. They don't make a "lift" key, they are ALL just to raise the front end, whether just to level it with the rear, or slightly above. Any "lift" greater than what you would get with 3" keys would have bracketry to drop the front differential down, negating the angles that the front CV's would otherwise operate at. That's why a 3" key "lift" can be done for under $200 (without shocks), but a true 4" LIFT will run you over $1000.

yeah buying this stuff lifts it more where keys mainly level it

But I think it's a good idea to go with new coils if replacing everything else, especially since my coils are probably still original.

This all comes to about 450 shipped.. would this give a better quality and more lift then the $260 ROUGH COUNTRY 2" Leveling kit?

That should be the right length. They need to be 11.5ish inches center to center id check with summit to make sure thats the length before ordering or just buy em locally. I bought mine locally. If yours is a z71 those springs won't change your height... you'll need spacers instead. I love the ride Bilsteins give which is why I was okay spending the money on them even though my Yukon only has 55k miles on it. If your shocks are good and you want to save money go with shock extenders. If you want new shocks I don't think you can beat the bilstein 5100s. Also, the torsion bar unloading tool and spring compressors can be rented from most local auto part stores and you get a full refund when you return them.

Keys and spacers can be had for less than rough country's kit if that's all it comes with.

Wanna replace the springs anyway so I'll grab spacers with the new ones.

The RC kit comes with new shocks too, but I'm sure Bilstein blows them away. So $260 with spacers, keys and front and rear shocks. Trying to figure if I wanna go all out with the setup you posted, or keep it simple with the RC kit..

E-bay keys and rear coil spacers, longer rear sway bar links, longer shocks, both front and rear (or spacers if your existing shocks are like new). That's it, end of discussion. You don't need a "kit" from Supreme Suspensions or any other company offering everything, UNLESS their kit is roughly the same price as piecing things together.

As far as tires, it all depends on your wheels. Stock wheels, 285's may rub on the sway bar in the front, or the frame in the rear (of the front wheelwell). If you have offset wheels (or run spacers), you may rub the edge of the bumper, or the rear of the fenderwell - either is an easy fix, with a sawzall and a 5 lb hammer (search for mini NorCal mod on YouTube).

I've had 285/75/16's (on 16x8 wheels, 1 1/4" more offset than stock) on my Yukon XL with nothing other than turning the factory arms, and no rub. I've heard of guys running 305/70/16's, and even 33x12.50's - they undoubtedly scrub a bit, unless they are up over 3" for a crank.

I did run some 315/75/16's on my older Suburban (with 3" front and rear) for about a week, but I did a NorCal mod on that, and I still couldn't turn lock-to-lock, much less during full suspension flex.
so they crank the keys up to where the truck is squatting, then level it out with rear coil spacers, adding lift and leveling correct?
