Thanks for all your help and suggestions on this 08GREY!
Do you know if these are supposed to "ride" on the front bumpstops or should I have trimmed them?

New to the trucks, but on everything else i've ever lowered, the bumpstops are not supposed to be "ridden" on. If im right that this assumption applies to our trucks, then it is absolutely the cause of a harsh, terrible ride. the bumpstops limit the travel of the suspension, your truck sitting on them at static heaight means your shock/spring are barely carrying the load, instead youre relying on those hunks of vulcanized rubber to soak up bumps. The techs at the alignement shop probably have the truck on a lift when they inspect it, this allows the suspension to droop, thus its pretty difficult to identify that issue under those conditions. trim the bumpstops and see where youre at then.

The auto sensing trucks sit on the bump stops in the front, at least mine do. I know Many modern vehicles do. The strut still needs to be able to dampen if the strut is shot it will be harsh. Take some cell phone pics for us to look at.

Its not a bump stop its a jounce stop. All the torsion bar trucks are design to ride on the bump stops, the stop gives it it's spring rate, the t-bar and jounce stop work together. Just thought have you looked at your keys, possible lowering keys or key bolts not tight or to loose? Lowering keys will suffer ride and miss adjust bolts will do the same I believe. Just a thought. Z71 bump stops a little beefier you could swap for a set of them.

Are you sure your auto ride working, is your compressor turning on? My 02 ride like that with stock due to the compressor being junk and rear shocks leaking. Try loading rear up and see if truck self levels itself that will tell you if pump good.

Just some info/ideas hopefully you can get it squared away.
