RPMs jumping slightly upon braking.

This is very old thread but wanted to see if there was more insight on this as i'm currently experiencing this.

When i'm coming to a stop, my Tahoe will surge and the RPM's will jump alittle and then come back to 500.

If I brake a lot sooner, it doesn't do it.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Mine kinda does it also, I noticed it after I cleaned the TB and MAF. I was thinking it might be the TPS, I bought a new one but haven't installed it yet.

Might be the relearning that was talked about in that earlier link. I've cleaned my TB several times and never noticed this though and also have the 4L60E.

Really weird.

I've done a simple relearn on it but I still happens.

It's been going on for about a month or so now.
