RSE Screens Backlit No Video

For context, I’ve got a JVC KW-M780BT stereo with an Amazon Firestick plugged into a HDMI/RCA converter plugged into the RCA port (new) in the back. Proper adapter to retain RSE in the radio wiring harness.

I cannot get picture to display on the 2nd or 3rd row screens. Picture would display on the radio only using the HDMI input, but using the RCA I have a “no signal” on the radio and just a backlight on the screens.

I did not see any red lights on the black strip on the 2nd row screen, if that matters.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried plugging the RSE cables directly into the RSE inputs on the back of the console in the 2nd row?

You’d be able to verify operation of the 2nd and third row screens as well as video & audio signal.

That’s where they are plugged into now, into that OEM RCA jack below the rear climate controls. I’m not getting video, and I’m unable to check on audio since I can’t see the screen to operate it.
