RST Tahoe allocation

I just grabbed a 23 Yukon XL Denali with reserve package and got $1000 off MSRP.
I just went thru the opposite and I’m soooo done! I have a 2019 Yukon Denali, in Central Texas, looking to trade in for a 2023 Yukon Denali. My Denali has 48,000 miles, beautiful condition, I owe $24,000 WITH ZERO PERCENT INTEREST! Simple??? Nope! The GMC dealership WANTED $10,000 to $15,000 MARKET ADJUSTMENT on top of MSRP and wouldn’t budge!!! I walked away!

Good job walking away. There are plenty of dealers out there that will charge MSRP or less. It's not much of a sellers market anymore, but some dealers will hang onto their market adjustments if they continue to find people willing to pay it.

the two words that are hurting you are "Central Texas".

granted there are exceptions, but you'll have to look outside that area to find dealers not charging adjustments.

That dealer “market adjustment “ is complete bs in this current environment. It’s not going on at all that I know of in Pennsylvania. I may be done also. Sick and tired of waiting for an allocation for a RST build. I’m in contact with four separate dealerships and have been waiting for months with zero contact from them unless I take the initiative and reach out. May just keep my 2016 LT, Tungsten Gray spotless and 40k. Not wild about the current color choices, wheels anyway. Wondering why I’d compromise anything and have to jump through hoops doing it.

I'd go for the 24, I bought a 23 in July & it's been in the shop 3 times & I am still having issues. I had a 2023 before this but it was an LT, zero issues. Be careful what you choose. They have a bunch of the 2023 with bad injectors, bad tires, you name it.

Thanks for the feedback. Coincidentally today I was contacted by a local dealership that just received a 23. We’re this close to the 24’s and considering your input I’ll be waiting for a 24.

I thought about moving to a '24 yukon xl SLT from a '21 yukon xl SLT, after they anounced the refreshed model was not coming I played around on the build and price and found one available exactly like I built on a lot near me in Michigan, traded in the '21 and drove it home 2 days later. I'll hang on to this one till the new model comes out.

May as well keep your new 23. Just stopped at my local dealer who told me he has no information on the pricing or availability on the 24’s but believes (as already reported here) there are zero changes. Except for the price no doubt

How’d you do on your trade in? We have a 21’ Tahoe premier and wanted the refresh but since they said no on that we ordered a 23’ suburban high country that’s suppose to be built next week. We’re hoping to do well on our Tahoe, kbb says a good price anyway…

for the 24’s.
If you look at the Fleet Order guide, there are no changes listed for the 24’s, aside from a color being dropped and some wheels being added.
