Hi I have a 2004 chevy Tahoe lt. Does anyone know what the honeycomb shaped rubber cushions are called in the front part of the suspension? I want to believe it's some sort of body mount. I'm changing my wheel hub assembly and noticed this rubber piece is really old and falling apart.

Those are the front Jounce stops. Search it, lots of threads on it.

Thanks a lot I had no clue what they were called or what they did. Mine are very weathered and eroding from the bottom

There are standard bumpstops in the rear yes. They wont make quite as big of a difference. Are you stock ride height? I am decranked and found some bumpstops that fit in the front perfect that work very nicely for less... Noticeably shorter than the stock ones though.

The rear ones are actual bump stops and only used if your rear suspension actually bottoms out which will only happen if you're lowered quite a bit. If you do start hitting those you'll need to do a modification called the free travel mod and you'd replace the stock ones with something shorter.
