So after I had the 2 3 drop kit installed, I couldn't resist and had to put the rims back on. They are 24's and now that its dropped, all the wheels are rubbing the fender wells.

The back wheels hit towards the front of the wheel well but more on the inside. Th front tires now rub against the back of the wheel well when I turn. (it didn't before the drop)

Do you all have any solutions to this? Could my mechanic heat the wheel well up a bit to reshape it?

Any help would be awesome. I will post pics tomorrow when its daylight.

Nope, no solution.

Seriously though... Yes, you'll get plenty of solutions, including heating and bending the liner out of the way, zip-tying the liner back, cutting the liner, and a secret 2x4 trick from Tony (don't know what that entails).

People here run 6s with a drop. You will be told how to take care of issues with your 24s, I'm sure.

i had rubbing issues too. Being dropped on 24s got my wife so excited, she constantly rubbed... nevermind, wrong topic.

Anyhow, it comes down to the offset of your wheels and the tire size. A 305/35/24 is probably going to rub. It might rub a little bit, but eventually it will rub its way through the plastic that its touching. It'll go away.

Welcome to the dropped rubbing club. I completely removed all the plastic inners and I still rub on the firewall in the front. You can trim yours and get rid of some of the rubbing. Good luck :superhack:
