As much as i like them color matched it almost looks crappy to me. Do you think i need to paint the fender flares for it to look right? Also if i end up painting those i might have to paint the top bumper plastic up front and im not really wanting to haha. Any input, good or bad, is appreciated.

Your Sin's buddy right? we meet a couple months ago..i have the pewter Hoe..

Id color match the flares and the bumper cap..GM designed them gray to match the plastic cladding...if your gonna do black then everything has to be black in order to "flow"....i actually have a set of flares that are already painted (just need a scuff and shoot).

The flares do look out of place being gray. I would paint them. As far as the front bumper I don't think it will be as noticeable. It will definitely flow better with your theme.

Paint the flares. WILL make a difference. the caps, you will notice them, but if money isnt your friend, then i would do the flares then the caps, or look for someoen that has painted theirs already black. Ive seen a couple of them.

Yea man when i saw your name i figured it was you for some reason. Matts still got that 03 bezel sittin at his house if your still lookin for one. Also i thought you were puttin those flares on your tahoe? change of plans?

And idk if anyones noticed my other threads but these are far from professional paint jobs on the exterior plastics..... Cleaned em off, wiped with rubbing alcohol, 3 coats of krylon fusion and 3 coats of spray can clear. So price isnt an issue its just the matter of finding time to do it. But with the extra opinions im gonna paint the flares and cap. Already did the front valance and all the rear bumper plasstics a while ago. Might as well do it till its done. Thanks for the opinions guys.

Also the running boards look like a different black compared to the truck in the pics because the truck is dirty as all hell. The rest of the plastics ive painted match almost perfectly.

Nice!!. yea I've been meaning to talk to him about the bezel. And yea ive had a change of plans..flares dont exactly scream "sport truck" there for they're gonna be for sale soon..but if you want them ill hook ya up...itll literally be a scuff and shoot...hell ill even talk to my body guy about painting them black...wont be too much $$$. If you want some tips on how to properly paint the running boards just hit me up..id be happy to help.

haha exactly why i use the cheap shit. I dont mind if it gets messed up cus its cheap to redo.

Dont think i can afford the flares right now.... Just installed my new amp and sub and the wires are too short from my old wiring so i need to spring some extra cash to get that wired right. Also might be gettin a good deal on a mac mini this week so thatll take up some more cash. If i can get that then i need to get a touch screen to mold into my dash and get that all hooked up. Thanks for the heads up though man i appreciate it.
