Running Boards

Looks like you are missing half of the bracket....

There are C shaped brackets that mount to the body, not the frame.

Those C shaped brackets bolt to the brackets hanging on your running boards.

If someone else does not come up with a picture here soon, I could get the camera out and take a picture of mine.


I'll bet that more than half of the guys here that removed their stock running boards probably still have the "C" brackets on their trucks. Maybe someone here will donate theirs to the cause................

I don't like running boards either. So I'm considering the retractable ones... It's for the ladies . They seem to have a problem getting in with the 9" of lift and 35's.



But they haven't complained about the bench seats in back yet :****: .

With so many guys that dislike stock running boards, there must be 8 "C" brackets floating around out there somewhere. If nothing else, still hanging on the underside of many these Tahoes.

Let's be "green" and recycle them. Get them together and send them to nodora96.

my 99 install to the body right under the rocker..most trucks suv do we install them on lots of trucks at my shop i will get a pic if noonne gets it before me

No what else is crazy? How I can manage anything back there being 6' 2". Last time I pulled three muscles and was limping for two days. but it was worth it.
