Sad day.. pretty sure my transmission went out

Good time to install a Corvette servo for a firmer 1-2 shift. It actually is easier on the trans.

I am going to have that done but cant at this time. Im gonna do that myself.
Actually i would totally replace this trans myself but I just dont have the time at the moment.

Do you have a part number or kit number i need for that servo?

Ah. I forgot if I needed the longer pin when I bought mine, it was a long time ago. Thanks Sam, looks like that’s the kit that’s needed.

Only needed if there’s more than a 1/16” play. Mine was 1/8 or so.

Updating you guys.
Been a bit but have been busy at work.

Had a reputable shop replace the transmission with a rebuilt one.
Its been running and shifting great. Nice crisp non sloppy shifts.
I will look into the Servo mod when I can.

I actually think I'm gonna take it back to them because a couple times it "fell out of gear" while sitting at a stoplight.

Yeah when i went to accelerate, rpms went up for like a split second and then it went THUD... into 1st.

That’s not good. Better get them to fix it while it’s still under warranty.
