Has anybody seen this? Any experience with it. It's a trip computer, scan tool and a full set of digital gauges all in one module. It can give you up to the minute MPG, it can tell you a lot of info that the OBS trucks can't and it can read codes. Any thoughts?

I like mine a lot. You can also add "xgauges" to include more than just the pre programmed settings. I am using one of the settings to monitor tranny temp which kept me from having to buy another gauge/sensor.

Check on CL, ebay, etc... you can find them for cheaper.

No, this is nothing more than a DIC & code scanner. Although it is not as advanced as a Tech II scanner so you will not be able to read previous codes. For example, I had an ABS sensor die on me which tripped the ABS light but no current code. My service manager hooked up the Tech II scanner & up came multiple stored codes with the ABS sensor.

Jenna's set-up is an excellent choice. I like her gauage pod configuration.

I have a Scan Guage II and I love it... I have used it in my last 3 trucks! But the only thing I wish it did was tranny temp, that's the only down fall I see! Other than that they are great for check engine lights.... tells you the code and then google it! Told me my O2 sensors were running rich and needed to be changed! Great tool!

My xguage does tranny temp & tranny line pressure. You would have to add it. However, your '96 OBDII may not be able to relay this info.

Below is the programming info:

Trans Fluid Temperature (Exc Allison)
TXD: 6C10F1221940(01)
RXF: 046205190640
RXD: 3008
MTH: 00090005FFD8
