What is this for? Rear differential? I thought our generation called for 75W-90 Synthetic, not 75W-140, in the rear and 80W-90 in the front.

I appreciate your response. In my past experience I always cracked both plugs loose, took the drain plug out first, so it would not erupt. Then by the time I opened the fill plug, all was under semi-control. This is a new one to me.

Could you guys link me to this pump thing you used to load up the Tcase? My method sucked and I definitely want to try your way!

This only fits wide mouth quarts or 1 gallon jugs so I just dumped my regular quarts into a empty washer fluid jug I usually save for collecting used fluids. Definitely a time saver.

I use the same thing. Works good. You can also use one of the pointed bottle caps cut so a long piece of tube passes through it and reaches the bottom of a quart bottle. It needs to be tight so it seals. All you have to do is squeeze it in.

That's still not the right stuff Joe. All your transfer case needs is plain old Dexron VI transmission fluid. I would flush it out good before tightening the plug, no telling what that stuff will do to the pump.
