Screeching sound

I have been hearing a screeching sound on starting my '07 Suburban..kinda like what comes from the fan belt.. any ideas on how to fix this?

Check serpentine belt then take it off to see if all pulleys (AC.Power steering, etc,) to see if there is binding also check tensioner to see if operating properly which if it isn't the belt is not going to be tight.
