I had a similar situation but my screw was where the side wall and bottom came together which usually means a new tire. I plugged it myself but it didn't last so I found a place that patches from the inside and haven't had a problem in 4 years. It only cost like $15 bucks so try that before you spend money on a new tire. If you do get a new one you only need one.
