sea foam and tune up advice

im going to do a tune up on my tahoe in an hour ima change the spark plugs engine oil fuel filter clean the throttle body and sensors and seafoam..now shud i sea foam it before the oil change or after? or the spark plugs? in what order do i do these to get the best results..also how much gas should be in the tank? i got over a 1/4 of gas can you still do it like that? its half in the tank and half in the vacume line right?

I should have asked this also but I did everything and then seafoamed. And your correct half vacuum and half in tank.

Your supposed to add to oil too. What id do is do everything your suppoed to, then oil change for after when you drive it.

How often should seafoam be done.

Some use it every 10- 15 thousand miles , I use it every 50k , but as stated before you change the oil and plugs

I am pretty sure you are supposed to change your oil after seafoaming. As for the how often, it depends on you. Do you use crappy gas all the time? If so I would seafoam at least every year. I typically only run certain fuels, exxon, sunnoco, or shell, and i run fuel injector cleaners often so once I am done cleaning the engine up from the previous owner I may never use it again.

okay thanks for everything guys what i did was pour 1/3 in oil 1/3 in vacume nd 1/3 in tank..i changed my oil first then fuel filter and added ac delco plugs and new wires..now i need to clean my 02 sensors and change differential fluid..but what a difference it made today my tahoe is alot more responsive and has better acceleration..hoping to see an improvement in mpg..anything shud help

ive got 215k on mine and was debating doing the same thing. worried i will loosen it up too much though. any thoughts? mileage has been about 12 in mixed, mostly highway driving with the 5.3 and 4wd
