Here is a funny one. My son some how got his seat belt stuck.

It wouldnt extend further because it locked itself, and I couldnt retract it because it was jammed tightly between the seat release lever and the seat.

Had to unbolt one end of seat belt to just to free it up.

my kid has done that I just pulled the lever up and pulled on the seatbelt and managed to get it back to normal, there is a clip that is supposed to hold the seat belt up to prevent that but they break easily you will probably see it dangling on the body panel trim behind the seat, looks like a black string with a broken clip on the end.

Not on my 2012, but on my 2001 the kids would always get the seatbelt halfway twisted in the slot on the buckle so it couldn't be adjusted. Took a lot of effort and curse words to get it freed. It amazed me how easily kids could get something jambed up like that.

They are ingenious little creatures sometimes, aren't they.

Strangely enough my kiddo hasn’t done anything like this yet. Does seem inevitable though.

I am expecting my wife’s grandmother to get all tangled in it as she always pulls the belt all the way out and accidentally engages the locking mechanism when she puts her belt on. I always let out a chuckle.

My wife does that all the time. When she gets in she pulls the seatbelt all the way out and clicks it in, then gets pissed off because it locks and she can't get the excess to roll back in
