Thanks everyone. We ended up finding a very clean 2010 Suburban 2500 with a 'luxury package' - interior reminds me very much of the Yukon we drove. Soft, comfy seats, nav, and a tow rating of nearly 10k. Picking it up tomorrow. The 6.0 doesn't have as much HP/torque as the 6.2 from the Denali, but I think it will do just fine.

Congrats! Yes, the 6.0 is still a beast.

Nice! 39 gal (total) twin tanks that drink e85. That's a nice treat for that 6.0 352hp all aluminum beast. These trucks are usually loved and cared for by their owners. Find a range disabler to turn off the AFM asap. If you're looking for rim upgrades the 3500 OEM bolt on nicely. This set is from a 2017 Denali.

Yes, it is an Escalade and yes it is a 2500 Frankenstein. Post some pics when you get a chance.

I don't recognize that brand of wheel, maybe someone else does?

For a PA vehicle wth 136k there's very minimal rust underneath. There's a little tiny bit of bubbling on the leading edge of the hood in one spot, and there's one bit on the passenger side rear wheelwell that was hidden by a stick-on chrome strip I peeled off as soon as I got home.

Now I need to decide if I want to repair it, or just grind out the rust/prime and add some fender flares or something.

There's a light clunking in the drivers front that I noticed on the way home, I think the shock may be toast. Need to investigate further.
