Recently the seat heater on the drivers side has been randomly turning on/off and changing intensity both increasing and decreasing. I have mostly been using the car for short commutes (15-35 minutes) the past few weeks and this starts shortly after turning the car on.

Has anyone here had that happen? My first thought is a faulty switchs but the cheapest one I can find cost $165 so I won't be buying that unless I'm fairly certain that will cure the problem.

Can post a video if it helps.

It has been raining every day for the past 4 days now and the seat heater switch is going haywire.

Searched and found people having the same problem but no-one talks about a solution.

Recorded yesterday morning poltergeist activity.

It ended up being the switch underneath my seat. I'll try to find the link that I found the info on, I want to say it was on a GM/Chevy forum on another site.

My seat got wet one day and it did it til the seat dried. I would suspect the wired mesh in the seat is making a contact somewhere.
