Seat swap

Hey guys I'm looking at converting my 01 Tahoe leather seats into cloth seats with a jump seat. So I'd remove the center console install cloth electric seats and install the jump seat with flip down console. My question is, I'm looking at getting 03 cloth power seats, will the electric plugs fit from the 03 into the 01? Or do I have to rewire the harness? Any help would be appreciated thanks guys.

you would have to rewire the seats with the plugs from your old ones. More work, but worth it since the 03+ seats are better and have more lumbar support. I don't think 03+ cloth seats ever had a power option for the passenger seat, so if yours is power you will also have to swap seat tracks.
