Second Row 60/40 recline?

Did anyone ever figure out how to diy it instead of buying the expensive kit? I'm not getting captain seats because I have a custom interior and I'd have to get them recovered to match.

I looked into the kit awhile ago. From what I found it was discontinued and the ones on eBay were $500 or more
