Hi all!

Can somebody tell me FOR SURE which transmission is in my truck? It's a 6.0 Denali AWD. Does it have a 4l60, 65 or 70?

Show us your RPO codes from the glovebox, or post up all of the Mxx codes that are on that sticker.

I would love to do that, but I currently have no access to the truck. Just found M32 with a VIN decoder. So that's a 4l70e correct?

MD8 = 700R4 / 4L60 (no 'E')
M30 = 4L60E
M32 = 4L65E (Heavy Duty)
M70 = 4L70E (Super Duty) (somebody with a TrailBlazer SS, please check their RPOs?)

MT1 = 4L80E
MN8 = 4L85E (Heavy Duty)

MYC = 6L80E
MYD = 6L90E (Heavy Duty)

M5U = 8L90E
MQE = 8L90E with 'improvements'

MF6 = 10L80E
MX0 = 10L90E

Please take note of Fless' corrections below.
