So on my 04 Yukon my mirrors fold in but i have to press a button... I was wondering if anyone has seen or can think of a way to rewire them to fold in and out by themselves when either i leave the truck or get into it.

So far I've thought of wiring it to the seat memory possition once you insert the key and how they move back once you remove the key?
That seems like it should work but i haven't checked it yet.

Its been done before, but there is no programming or plug and play solution. Search on GMFullSize

I've done it on three trucks so far, including mine. But all three have an aftermarket alarm system. What I did was I wired up some relays and two PACTR7 timer modules and then tied them into the door lock and unlock wires on the alarm. So when you arm/lock the truck, the timer module energizes the relay for 15 seconds to fold the mirror in. Then the same thing to unfold with unlock/disarm. But I will warn you, its a lot of wiring. So if you don't have experience with alarm systems and relays and wiring, then this might be out of your skill set.

I have a 2002 Escalade power fold switch to fold my mirrors (even though I never use it). I tested that switch when I first started this mod, and it powers the mirrors for exactly 15 seconds when you press the button. That's why I used the timers and relays to basically duplicate what the factory switch does, send voltage to the mirrors for 15 seconds. They actually fold in about 13 seconds or so, but I figured if the stock switch gave them 15 seconds, then I would go ahead and give them more than enough time as well.
