I kinda grasp your idea though.. sorta like a 2 door sport track or avi?

I think the trick is you cant cut it on the truck body line , you would have to rake it like on the avi for it to look cool

Maybe in 10 years if I still have the truck I'll chop her up and make er' into something along the lines of what were thinkin.

Sounds like something Jesse James could do in a couple hours. I would custom fab an aluminum compartment right where the rear seat folds down. Have it 1 or 2 inch plexi from midway up to the headliner. Bam, you got yourself an indestructable cargo area and you can still keep an eye on your 6. Your ride will be loud with no insulation other than Rhino linning, so just insulate the aluminum barrier/"window" piece for sound and comfort.
