Service 4wd light

My service 4wd light keeps cutting on but you can cut the truck off or pull the fuse and it goes away till I drive then it cuts back on its saying 4wd lock circuit low I ran a new wire for the lock circuit and even when the light cuts on I still have the 12v on it I'm believing the encoder motor is bad being that it's a intermittent problem but if some one can give me anything else to look at I would greatly appreciate it

Been having a similar problem, if I turn sharp and or fast it would make the light turn on and once I turned off the key it would be fine until I did it again. Today I checked the abs sensor connections by the front wheels, jiggled them while the truck was on, it kicked the light, so I fixed the connection and now it doesn’t come on

I'll have to check that out I wouldn't think that would trip the light...thanks I'll update if that does anything for any one else that sees this

It will trip the light, that’s how the auto 4wd knows when to kick in
